1) What are the programs that are offered by KIDZEE?

At Kidzee, we offer 4 programs- Playgroup, Nursery and Junior KG and Senior KG.

2) What do you mean by ILLUME?

Illume is a research based Pedagogy by Kidzee, it is an approach, which acknowledges that, each child has unique potential, & hence deserves the opportunity to discover his/her innate abilities. (To know more, redirect the link to the Illume section)

3) How is Kidzee different and how is it helpful for the child?

The prime focus at Kidzee is to nurture the uniqueness of each child. Each day and each activity is planned so that it addresses the different learning styles of children:

A learner centric methodology is adopted which provides various learning modes based on clear learning objectives
Emphasis is placed on experiential learning and freedom, thus encouraging higher level thinking i.e. creative, diverse and imaginative.
Providing Resources like:

Fully networked educational environment
Learning Resource Centre in the form of teachers library and classroom library
Environment Education
Health Education

The environment is both cooperative and collaborative which is conducive to help each child learn at his /her pace.
Safe and a caring learning environment for children.
Strong Parental involvement.

4) What is the quality of the teachers in your School?

Our staff is selected on the basis of their educational qualifications, relevant experience, and their attitude towards learning & and learners. They have a firm belief in our stated aim.

The teachers are trained over 2 levels annually.
Teachers are oriented towards the Illume Pedagogy.

5) What is adult - child ratio in the class?

To ensure optimum learning in the classrooms a adult child ratio of 1:10 is maintained.

6) What is the assessment process in Kidzee?

There is no competitive assessment at Kidzee. It is an observation based continuous and cumulative process which helps understand the childs unique learning style.

7) How is discipline enforced in the school?

Kidzee follows a child friendly behaviour management routine which includes RPI - Rules, Praise and Ignore. Child centric measures are adopted, the teachers and other adults are trained to be proactive and find solutions along with the children. No corporal punishment is allowed.

8) What are the languages taught in the school?

The medium of instruction is English and at Sr. Kg. Level the local language / Hindi is introduced.

9) Does the school admit children mid year?

Yes, Kidzee allows admissions in mid term.

10) Is there a transfer policy?

A stated transfer policy rests with each Business partner. In the event of the parent's transfer / relocation, the parent can seek a transfer from one Kidzee centre to another in the relocated area. as per the Kidzee Transfer Policy which shall be subject to all or any changes as may be implemented / suggested by ETC from time to time. In line with parent friendly procedures, the transfer policy is governed by the simple flow that the existing Center will refund the fees for the months not completed, but not the annual fees. The parent will be required to pay the tuition fee as applicable for the remaining months at the relocated Kidzee centre.

11) Are there any exams/interviews for the admission process?

No, Kidzee does not believe in entry barriers to quality education. Our belief drives us to accept all children and help them to be the best of themselves.

12) How are parents involved in KIDZEE?

A high level of Parental involvement is initiated at Kidzee as we believe that Parents play a strong role in the development of the child. Parents are informed and updated not only about the happenings at Kidzee through Open forums, Seminars, PTM, Open house, but with other useful parenting tips.

13) Do you have separate Uniforms for summer and winter?

There are separate uniforms for summer and winter. Summer uniforms are inclusive in the child kit and the winter uniforms are available in our schools at an additional cost.

14) When does KIDZEE Preschool operate?

The timings differ from center to center. For further details, please contact your nearest center.

15) What is the duration of each program?

The duration for:
Playgroup and Nursery- 2.5 hours
Junior/Senior KG � 3.5 hours

16) Are admissions to the KIDZEE programs open through out the year?

Yes.
